Joe Poppy will confirm that te host for both Poppynet and the OWS have had major issues which jhave affected 1000's of websites. The sites are now back up and expected to remain so.Would happen during the holiday season wouldn't it !
The reason I rang Lewes was that someone at the front of the coach recieved a call from someone at the ground to say there was to be a further inspection at 1.30pm (wrong info though), so I rang Lewes to double check the game was off although I knew it was when Kev rang JC. I felt it was best to check, imagine heading back home only to be told game is now on, unlikely I know but I just felt more comfortable by checking myself. This front vs back of the coach and visa versa is becoming very boring! Although yesterday I just think everyone was frustrated with wasting a whole day and money, which could easily have been avoided with a bit of common sense from Lewes FC but as usual no consideration for the fans!!
We were stopped at the services, conveniently at the time of the 1 o,clock inspection. Mel was sat behind me when Kev rang to say it was off. Rossyboy then sent a text to John, sat at the back with me, but the front of the coach still insisted that Mel phone Lewes.
Oh ok.
That's when Mel phoned me
Doesn't make sense if you'd already got the calls.
Frustrating - a wasted journey - wasted finance - another fixture to rearrange that the players (and supporters) certainly don't need but such is the life of a football fan I guess
Lewes will lose out too as they won't get as many going if it ends up mid week now.

I agree that having got most of the way down the game could have been called off at 11. Over £30 to circum-navigate the M25 and the hour stop in Staines did not really compensate. Dont ring me in future though please, Kev, as your word is not good enough for the front section of the coach.
I got confused about that JC - what was that all about?
In the middle of my dinner and didn't really think about the phone call situation until afterwards
